Maia is a lovely girl, full of energy. She is always in when you are doing something and she never get tired of doing something. Maia is very easy with other dogs, and she gets along with everyone. With people she not so interested, she don’t care of strangers. But she cares a lot from her family members! Maia would like to be around of her family all the time. But with children Maia is the best dog you could have. She is so careful with them and loves them. A perfect family dog!

Maia was a shy puppy and she loved to live with Jasmin, Juno and Martta Akitas. Today she lives with only Martta. Maia is a dog who will always need dog friend, because she don’t want to be alone. That was quite of a problem at first, but she calmed down with time and with the right kind of obedience training.

Maia is imported from France at kennel des Mallerie des Landelles and is co-owned with Tuija Suomi, kennel Puvepapan.

Maia’s body is a little bit longer than Bouvier should have, but with her energy and structure she won’t never get tired too easily. Maia has got strength to jump like a gazelle. I’m very pleased with her structure.

Maia’s hobbies

When I took Maia I thought she would be a great obedience dog. I took her to a puppy class and yes, she loved to do something. But she is not so precise with the things she does. So I took her to agility at summer 2011 and wow… she really, really loved it. I’m not good enough in agility so I’m trying to find a person who would like to train with her. I think she could be even a great competition dog.

Maia’s grand-sire is Omer de la Saulaie des Maraiches and I’m happy to see that Maia has the energy of a work dog. Maybe her grandfather is proud of her.

Maia took mental test at 1.4.2012, judges were mr. Mikael Laine and mr. Sami Heikkilä.

Maia’s health

Maia has been a healthy dog. She has sore eyes and when her hair falls down on her face, her eyes get a little bit irritated.

Maia’s hips, elbows and eyes are checked later. She will also be mental tested at near future.
